"Back to School" Part 2 | Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, PA
I realize I am a bit late on this blog, but before I forget to write about it entirely, I wanted to share an experience I had creating a "Back to School" video for Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, PA. On August 27, I was fortunate to be given the opportunity by Mercersburg Academy staff to produce another video for their social media content.
Every year, the week before school begins, Mercersburg Academy has an orientation week for new students. As a private boarding school, the students need time to move in to their dorms. This also gives the students and their parents an opportunity to socialize without the pressures of academia. Returning students also aid in the welcoming week helping new students move in and feel comfortable.
Students come from not just everywhere in the U.S., but all around the world to attend Mercersburg Academy. Around 50% of their students also receive some form of scholarship, which facilitates the highly diverse culture.
